spring in Italy
From late February to early April I have had the great pleasure to be invited to the operahouse of La Scala di Milano again.
My third time there - this time I did not choose my quarters right in the center, but close to the former ring walls near Porta Venezia and the Parco Indro Montanelli.
The park was perfect for morning runs - seeing the grey foggy winterdays make room for green springtime was a particular gift and staying in the lively neighborhood of Corso Buenos Aires a real treat.
Even though singing in a Wagner opera I have had my share of Verdi as well - as supposed to; after all Verdi is present not only at La Scala but also on electrical boxes ;-)
