Detlef's trip to Alsace
People that know me well, know how much I love the region of Alsace. Coming there for the first time at 7 years of age with my parents I developed a love in particular for the splendid city ot Strasbourg and the "holy" mountain of the region, the Mont Ste Odile. In early August I have had the pleasure to travel on a one day trip to some of my favourite places there - the Mont Ste Odile and also the city of Selestat. The latter a beautiful town a bit off the tourist track with two beautiful churches - a must is the visit of St. Georges with its superb stainglass windows... I just am in love with this area and like to share a couple of photos...
