Recording of Schumann-Songs
This week I have had the great pleasure to record mostly unknown Schumann songs for the Naxos series together with Uli Eisenlohr at the SWR-studios in Baden-Baden. It is always lovely to be back in Baden-Baden; after all seat of my "home" radio station SWR, or as it was called in my youth: SWF. The "Cherry on top" was that the recording took place in the Rosbaud-Studio, soon it will be torn down and it comes with many memories as the SO of Baden-Baden rehearsed and recorded here for many years. An intense couple of days in mostly foggy and grey Baden-Baden (after all it is November), but the sun came out as well as you can see in the photos.
